How Did You Save Money on Your Wedding?

The price of a wedding can be painful. Thankfully, there are a number of ways to cut costs on everything from food to entertainment. If you saved money on your wedding, how did you do it?

Between the venue, reception, and attire, weddings expenses add up fast. To put a number on it, the average cost of a wedding has now hit $30,000. We've discussed quite a few options for saving. There's negotiating entertainment. Shopping sales. Borrowing instead of buying.

Of course, with any of these options, mileage will vary. We want to know what worked best for you.
