What's The Best Ultrabook?

What's The Best Ultrabook?

Whether you're headed back to school or just want to take advantage of some back to school sales, now's a great time to pick out the notebook computer you want to buy. This week, we want to know which ultrabooks you think are the best, and worth your money when the sales roll in.

PC manufacturers are still labeling their thinnest, lightest, and most powerful laptops "ultrabooks," and they're perfect for anyone looking to buy a solid notebook computer that's also portable—in short, perfect for people who need to get work done or students on the go.

For those unfamiliar, we discussed what ultrabooks are and whether you might want one a while ago. This week we want to talk about the current generation of notebooks, and which ones have caught your eye. Which ones would you buy if you were in the market? Maybe you are in the market and have your sights set on one!

Let's hear your vote in the discussions below! To cast your vote, follow these guidelines:

  1. Follow this format for your vote, including the bold print. If you don't, it won't be counted:

    Vote: [BEST ULTRABOOK]

Why: Why is this Ultrabook (or other lightweight, portable, powerful laptop) the best one, or the one you'd suggest to others? Maybe it's affordable and has all of the features you'd need to be productive on the go. Maybe it's well reviewed or solidly built. Make your case! Try to keep it to a single paragraph, maybe two.

  2. Don't duplicate nominations! Instead, if someone's nominated your pick, star (recommend) it to give it a boost, and reply with your story instead.
  3. Please don't leave non-entry, direct comments on this post. They'll just get pushed down. Save your stories for others' submissions!

If you're not sure what we mean, just check out the nominations by our writers below. We'll give you a head start, and they should all be in the proper format, so you can just follow our lead.
