Google Releases the New Chrome Bookmark Manager Extension

Google Releases the New Chrome Bookmark Manager Extension

Chrome: What was formerly known as Google Stars—before it was pulled from the Chrome Web Store—is now the Bookmark Manager extension, which launches today and brings a selection of new features to make your bookmarks more powerful.

New features the Bookmark Manager extension brings include:

  • One-click save: When you bookmark a page you also have an option to save an image and notes to make bookmarks more helpful.
  • Improved search: Bookmark searching is now enhanced with Google search and looks at a bookmark's title, snippet, and content.
  • Bookmarks by topic: All of your bookmarks will be organized by topic or you can reorganize them however you like.
  • Share bookmarks: You can make a specific folder of bookmarks public and share the link anywhere you like.

Additionally, bookmarks will sync to all devices and all of your existing bookmarks will get updated with images and descriptions as much as possible. Be sure to sign in to Chrome with sync enabled, and before installing keep in mind that Bookmark Manager completely replaces the old bookmarks interface. Grab the new extension at the link below.
