Evernote for iOS Improves its Camera Scanner for Better Digital Notes

Evernote for iOS Improves its Camera Scanner for Better Digital Notes

Today must be the day for scannable camera apps on iOS. First, Microsoft released Microsoft Office Lens for iOS and now Evernote has released an update that includes some interesting new camera functionality.

Previous versions of Evernote for iOS have let you scan documents with your camera, but the latest update now automatically detects the edges of the document and what type of paper it is so that it can determine whether you're scanning a business card, Post-it Note, photo, or other type of document. All you have to do is take the picture and let Evernote do the rest, though you still do have options rotating, copping, or reclassifying the image if you need to.
