If you have a few gift cards you don't want, CardCash.com now lets you trade them for Walmart gift cards, giving you more for your money than its regular gift card exchange.
Just head to the site, type in the merchant, value, and card number, and you'll receive a Walmart gift card in your email in a few hours.
There are a ton of services like this on the web, including CardCash.com itself. However, in our brief tests, trading on the Walmart CardCash site seemed to give you more bang for your buck. For a $100 Banana Republic gift card, for example, CardCash.com offers $75 in cash. The CardCash Walmart site, however, offers $84 (provided you were entering the card code online—CardCash.com gives you similar money back if you mail in your cards, which is far less convenient).
Obviously, you can spend cash anywhere, but if there's something you want at Walmart, this might be one of the better trade-in options out there. Prices vary from merchant to merchant—some (like Staples) will get you 90% back, while others only 70%—but it's a good site to add to your list as you check who'll give you the most for those unwanted gift cards.
